The Global Dance Festival For Peace.
EarthDance has shown how the potent combination of music, dance, drums & group prayer can be harnessed for positive, humanitarian aims. For one night all around the globe, people join together to dance as one global community, united with a common vision for peace.
In the spirit of the pro-active “think globally, act locally” model, festival involvement requires that at least 50% of all proceeds benefit an EarthDance approved charity.

As you know, Healing Earth offers, on the average, 15 to 20 workshops, book signings & community sponsored environmental, socially conscious & political meet-ups & events weekly. We have become a "home" for numerous spiritual, holistic & pro-active organizations. As many of you already are aware, Healing Earth has never been neutral in regards to social consciousness & we have always strived to walk our talk…
Our name says it all.
Healing Earth Resources will have to close its doors on September 30, 2005, unless we are able to raise $250,000 by September 15. The owners, Dawn Silver & Michael Wisniewski, have done everything they can to keep its doors open. They now need the financial & spiritual energy of the Chicago area Spiritual & Holistic Community to create a miracle this month. So come out to the Sanctuary EarthDance & sign up for membership with H.E.R.
One highlight of EarthDance is a simultaneous link-up, when every event across the world plays the 4-minute Prayer for Peace track,
which will be 7pm sharp, Chicago time –
early morning in the Australian rainforest, midnight in London,
& sunrise over the Himalayas,
the Prayer for Peace meditation is a profound & powerful unifying moment…
